Unity School of Christianity
 The Unity Movement: Its Evolution and Spiritual Teachings by Neal Vahle, Prayer meetings held in 1889 in the Kansas City living room of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore were the beginning of what grew to be an international religious movement. Today there are 170,000 Unity students who are members of Unity centers and churches and attend classes both in the churches and at Unity School; the Association of Unity Churches provides services to over 1,000 ministries worldwide. Neal Vahle documents the lives of the visionaries who created and organized Unity. He explores the factors that led to the growth of the movement: the creation of the Unity School of Christianity; the development of Unity Village in Missouri; the publication program; the training of students; the development of centers and churches; and concludes with a look at the challenges facing the movement in the twenty-first century.

Unity Church - The Unity Church (also known as the Unity School of Christianity) is the largest of the New Thought denominations of Christianity. It was founded by Charles Fillmore (1854-1948) and Myrtle Fillmore (1845-1931) in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri. Unity High School - Unity High School, founded in 1902, is an independent school in Khartoum, Sudan, which uses the English language and provides a British-style education to children of various backgrounds. In 2005 it has an enrollment of some 750 students. Council For Unity - Council for Unity, a national non-profit organization founded in 1975, has a history of successfully promoting inter-group relations and reducing violence in schools and communities. By implementing school-based and after-school programs in leadership development, mentoring, career, college guidance and gang prevention, the Council fulfills its' mission of empowering individuals and groups with the skills necessary to promote unity, safety and achievement. Genoa Indian Industrial School - The Indian Industrial School at Genoa, Nebraska, was the fourth nonreservation boarding institution established by the Office of Indian Affairs. The facility opened on February 20, 1884, and, like other such schools, its mission was to educate and teach Christianity to Native American children.
